The TP-Link CPE610 is an outdoor wireless CPE designed for long-distance network connections. It combines 5 GHz wireless connectivity, data rates up to 300 Mbps, and a 23 dBi directional 2×2 MIMO antenna. Its focused antenna design and dedicated metal reflector make it suitable for outdoor links where accurate alignment and signal direction matter.
Directional Wireless Connectivity
The high-gain antenna concentrates the wireless signal toward the receiving device. This makes the CPE610 suitable for planned connections between separate locations. Performance depends on installation height, antenna alignment, obstacles, interference, and network conditions.
Weatherproof Outdoor Design
An IP65-rated enclosure protects against dust and water exposure. The CPE610 also features 15 kV ESD protection and 6 kV lightning protection. Proper grounding, shielded cabling, and installation are required to achieve the specified protection.
Snap-lock components simplify assembly, while pole mounting and three-axis alignment help installers position the antenna.
Passive PoE and Centralized Management
Passive Power over Ethernet carries power and data through the Ethernet cable, making installation more convenient where a nearby power outlet is unavailable.
Administrators can configure the device through the PharOS web interface. Pharos Control provides centralized device discovery, monitoring, firmware updates, and network maintenance. Pharos MAXtream TDMA technology helps manage wireless traffic in compatible deployments.
